Cablenut Setting Files

You need to do a Full reboot with every adjustment.
Please Note: In some cases you dont need to use every setting in the adjuster. To try it with less, blank out one setting at a time, rebooting in between.
Don't forget these tweaks too:

If you are running either 98 or 98SE, install the vtcp 386 patch. If you are on 98SE, install the NDIS Update as well. Get them from DSLNuts.

Navigate in the registry to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP\ServiceProvider
First export the key and then change the values of all of these to hexadecimal:
  • DnsPriority 03
  • HostsPriority 02
  • LocalPriority 01
  • NetbtPriority 04
Navigate in the registry to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\RemoteComputer\NameSpace
Find the key named {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}. First export the key, then delete it.

If you have problems, merge the exported registry file(s) to undo the changes.

I have a registry patch that will do these both for you: ME98Internet.reg
Heres the undo patch: UNDO_ME98Internet.reg
